Trauma-informed therapy for thoughtful, overwhelmed humans

Healing shouldn’t feel rushed or forced. At Rooted in Healing, therapy is a space to slow down, feel supported, and gently make sense of what you’ve been carrying.

Healing starts by focusing on building a strong rapport, ensuring safety, and prioritizing stabilization. Healing happens when safety, curiosity, and consistency come together.

Who This Space Is For

You may be navigating trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, or a season of life that feels heavy or overwhelming— including the emotional, physical, and mental shifts that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood.

You might look “high-functioning” on the outside while feeling disconnected, stuck, or exhausted on the inside, especially as your roles or identity are changing.

You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal to begin, a willingness to show up is enough.

What Therapy Feels Like Here

Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and paced with care.

Rather than pushing for quick fixes, focus is placed on building safety, understanding patterns, and supporting your nervous system as change unfolds.

Clients often describe therapy here as steady, compassionate, and respectful of lived experience.

A Rooted Approach to Healing

Healing happens when you feel seen, supported, and met where you are and not where you think you “should” be.

This practice is grounded in the belief that growth is possible when there is space, curiosity, and trust.

What Makes Rooted in Healing Different

Rooted in Healing emphasizes nervous-system-informed, trauma-sensitive care that honors your pace and autonomy, with particular attention to the unique needs of perinatal clients.

There is no pressure to revisit experiences before you’re ready, and no expectation to “perform” progress, especially during seasons of significant transition.

Your experience is the guide.

If You’re New to Therapy

It’s okay to feel unsure, nervous, or even skeptical. You don’t need a clear plan. We can create goals together. We can begin exactly where you are.

Current Availability
